2014 Awards Renewal Program
Do you have ideas how to assess supply chain management excellence for organizations? Consider participating in the awards research program

Is Your Supply Chain Organization a World Leader?

Your supply chain management team has worked hard to deliver superior, market-beating supply chain performance. They deserve global recognition for their efforts.

Your research organization has expanded the supply chain body of knowledge and shared it with the community. You deserve global recognition for your contributions.

Your technology has made it possible for organizations to design, monitor, and manage their supply chains in ways that were heretofore impossible. You deserve global recognition for your development work.

Presented annually since 2001, the global SCC Supply Chain Excellence Awards encourage the continuous advancement of the supply chain management body of knowledge and the sharing of that knowledge between organizations. The awards spotlight world-class organizations (both SCC members and nonmembers) that:

  • Recognize the critical role of supply chain management;
  • Made a commitment to optimize supply chain performance; and
  • Demonstrated this commitment through successful supply chain improvements.

2014 Program

At the Global User Meeting, Supply Chain Council announced changes to the awards program. The changes to the awards program align with the strategic direction of SCC to move from managing supply chain projects to managing supply chains.

The renewed supply chain program will evaluate organizations on their ability to manage supply chains. A research group will develop recommendations what determines effective supply chain management. To learn more about this research project or to volunteer navigate to our supply chain management awards research group.
