The Supply Chain Excellence Awards are presented annually since 2001 and recognize companies, universities and individuals that have made a significant contribution to the supply chain management body of knowledge or demonstrated significant supply chain improvement. The awards are open to all organizations and individuals and are organized in three regional awards whose winners compete for the global awards. 2013 Global Supply Chain Excellence Awards

The 2013 Global Awards were presented on April 8, 2013 at the annual Globobal User Meeting in St. Louis, MO. A panel of expert judges selected the winners based on project complexity, methodology and business impact: 

  1. Agilent Technologies - Project End-to-End Supply Chain Vertical Integration
  2. IBM - Project High Velocity Supply Chain
  3. Hotai Motor Co, Ltd - Project After-Sales Logistics

2012 Global Supply Chain Excellence Awards

The 2012 Global Awards were presented on April 2, 2012 at the Global User Meeting in Miami. A panel of expert judges selected the winners in three categories:

  • Philip Morris International won the Global Supply Chain Operational Excellence Award.
  • Universidade Estadual de Campinas | LALT won the Global Academic Advancement Award.
  • SAP won the Global Technology Advancement Award.

The Global Operational Excellence Award was awarded to Philip Morris International.

2010 Supply Chain Excellence Awards

The 2010 Global Awards for Excellence Ceremony was held during the Supply Chain World Europe conference in Munich Germany. Infineon Technologies AG received the Award for Supply Chain Operational Excellence and the Global Award for Supply Chain Excellence. The University of Bergamo (Italy) won the Academic Excellence Award. SCC previously recognized the winner of the 2010 Award for Supply Chain Operational Excellence in the U.S. Defense Sector: the Northern Distribution Network, a joint initiative of multiple agencies within the United States Department of Defense led by the U.S. Transportation Command.
