The Supply Chain Council Global User Meeting was designed specifically to help member and potential member representatives globally meet the board of directors face-to-face and hear from Council staff and leadership on progress, programs, and strategic direction of Supply Chain Council (SCC). This presents attendees with the opportunity to voice opinions and share needs in the global community, as well as catch up on what the Council is currently doing and planning.

An overview of current programs, interest/industry groups, and projects currently underway within SCC was shared. Development towards next year’s release of new frameworks, including Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR^®) model version 11, was also discussed. The board of directors was present for networking and a special panel discussion on how the Council is strategically moving ahead. This discussion included an interactive session with board members to offer everyone the opportunity to ask questions. The user meeting offered the chance to get involved to help establish which direction the Council will move in, and future programs.
