It's your choice. If you need to train multiple employees you can decide to send them to us or invite us to train at your facility. No matter where you are around the world, our instructors are available to support your needs. In-house training may reduce travel costs and can reduce the average training fees per employee. But above all, in-house training allows your employees to discuss how to adopt the newly learned tools and techniques in your company. Another benefit of in-house training is customization. We understand that your employees may need case examples that are relevant to your industry. As a senior executive at an entertainment company puts it: "Media and entertainment is a little different. While traditional supply chain concepts can be extrapolated, most standard training examples aren't directly applicable. Having our people make the leap from traditional concepts to our industry workflow and product is hard. We brought training inside so that when we did it, the training, examples and exercises were directly relatable for our people." Your project team can use their project during the exercises in an in-house training.

In-house training is available to Supply Chain Council members.

How it works

With in-house training you pick the date, instructor and venue:

• You pick the date. We will work with you to meet your schedule. Contact us to discuss the first possible opportunity. Consider that we need to schedule the instructor and ship the materials to your venue and that your employees may need advance warning to be available on the training dates. You may invite up to 20 trainees per class.
• You can request your preferred instructor. If you have an instructor preference we will try to schedule him/her. Availability of instructors may vary. The instructor will contact you in the weeks prior to the training to discuss customization to your company's needs.
• You provide the venue. We will provide you the requirements for the training venue, you will select and reserve a venue. In the week before the training we will ship the training materials to the venue. On the first day of the training the instructor will arrive early to help finalize the setup of the training room.

We will provide the registration, training materials and instructor. Employees that attended both Framework and Project either in-house or public qualify for SCOR-P certification. For more information on certification: SCC Certification.
