SCOR Professional (SCOR-P) Certification

SCOR-P certification establishes in depth knowledge of the SCOR model and methods. Certified SCOR Professionals can be deployed throughout the organization to tackle strategic supply chain issues. Certification also provides a practical method for assessing the skills and competencies of your personnel and recruits, and a method for evaluating the effectiveness of training. Encouraging employees to achieve certification demonstrates your investment in their educational development, aiding recruitment and retention.

The certification path includes the following entry requirements and steps:

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in supply chain,
  • SCOR Framework class (2 days),
  • SCOR Project class (2 days),
  • SCOR-P exam.

The examination needs to take place within 1 year after the classes. There are no renewal or refresh requirements. Check the Education schedule to find a workshop that meets your schedule or contact us to discuss any training opportunities in your company or city. More information: Steps to certification.

Employee benefits

SCOR certification demonstrates a person’s knowledge and capability as tested by an independent, third-party organization. Like other credentials, a person who has achieved SCOR-P certification conveys to global organizations that he or she possesses a valuable set of supply chain skills.

Watch the interview with Greg Grehawick, SCOR-P. "I’m a certified SCOR Professional. There are a number of folks out there professing to be supply chain experts, but they don’t understand the SCOR model. My SCOR-P credential identifies me as someone who can help my clients work through supply chain scenarios using SCOR and answer their question accurately and correctly."

Employer benefits

Building an in-house pool of certified SCOR Professionals can help a company dramatically raise its proficiency at supply chain improvement. All supply chain professionals who have earned the certification will possess common concepts, processes, terminology, and metrics, all of which are critical to standardizing supply chain processes across a large, global organization.
